This Privacy Policy explains how Innerverse (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and shares personal data
when you use the Innerverse mobile app (the “App”).
1. Data We Collect
Depending on how you use the App, we may collect the following categories of data:
- Account information: email and authentication/account details.
- Profile information: an optional avatar image you upload.
- Mood and emotional wellness data: mood entries you create (including intensity, tags, notes, and timestamps).
- App usage data: interactions within the App (for example, feature usage and screen views).
- Device information: device type, operating system, and app version.
- Analytics and diagnostics: crash logs and performance-related information used to improve the App.
- Customer support information: if you contact us, any information you provide to respond to you.
2. How We Use Your Data
- Provide App functionality: authentication, saving mood entries, and showing your personal trends and history.
- Generate AI insights: we send your mood entry text to a backend service that calls an AI model to produce supportive reflections (not medical advice).
- Personalization and account management: to display your content and manage your account.
- Analytics: to understand feature usage and improve reliability and performance.
- Security and fraud prevention: to protect the App and users.
- Support: to respond to questions and provide assistance.
3. Third Parties
We use third-party services to operate the App, including:
- Firebase (Google): authentication, database (Firestore), file storage (Storage), and backend functions (Cloud Functions).
- OpenRouter (AI provider): we call an AI model via our backend using OpenRouter to generate insights. Your mood entry content is sent for generation of supportive reflections.
- Analytics: Firebase Analytics or equivalent analytics services may collect analytics and diagnostics.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only as needed to provide the App and for the purposes described above.
We may share information if required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
5. Data Security
We use appropriate security measures designed to protect personal data. Data may be transmitted over encrypted connections.
We also apply access controls to limit who can access data.
6. Your Choices and Account Deletion
You can request deletion of your account and data from within the App (Settings > Delete Account).

7. Children’s Privacy
The App is intended for users age 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
If you believe a child has provided data, contact us so we can take appropriate action.
8. International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed in countries where service providers and infrastructure are located. By using the App,
you understand that data transfers may occur across borders.
9. Not Medical Advice
Innerverse is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.
The App provides supportive self-reflection and emotional wellness features only, and any AI output is not medical advice.
